  2. Deedee says:

She’s great. And very encouraging to see that things work out for people who wait.

  3. greg says:

I like that she is honest about it (on twitter of all places). Sometimes it’s not a thing celebs talk about.

  4. Mike says:

@greg – Totally! It’s hard to research celebs when they’re all so tight-lipped about the subject. I wish I could have a Twitter screenshot like this for everybody.

  5. Sally says:

This is really refreshing to see !

  6. wny says:

If I was a celebrity and was ever going to tell the public about waiting until marriage, I would probably do it like this-mention it casually after I was already married. I wouldn’t want to make a spectacle of it like people like Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers did. I’m not syaing celebrities always intentionally want it to be a spectacle (not sure about the two I mentioned), but I think doing it this way makes it more casual and makes it less of “the” defining thing about you.

  7. WanderingWashingtonian says:

Her character on Everwood, Hannah Rogers, was also waiting until marriage, which was something I always enjoyed about that show.

  8. 17Soul says:

I am glad she waited because I am waiting until I am married to give up my virginity to the man who is special. I wouldn’t ever lose it to a guy I profess to love but doesn’t love me back.

  9. ju says:

I agree Soul, same for me!

  10. Leanne says:

Does anyone know if her husband waited too?

  11. Mike says:

@Leanne – Good question. We have an update on her coming soon with more quotes and backstory about her waiting. If I find out the answer to that question, I’ll make sure to include it.

  12. Cindy says:

Gotta try on a shoe before you but it!!!!

  13. pinky says:

Wow indeed. Love the character she plays

  14. Sunshine says:

How cute! I love this about her!!! I waited until marriage too. And the funny thing is my husband did too, not because he was actually waiting for marriage but because he just didn’t find the right girl to be with. So when I told him I was waiting for marriage, he was on board for it. 4 in a half years of marriage and many more to go 🙂

  15. Pawn says:

Happy to see, god still exist in our souls.
